Jimmy Gabriel dead: Former Everton union spell winner passes away decrepit 80

Gabriel became the most expensive artist to commit Scotland when he joined Everton from Dundee in 1960 before next appearing for Southampton, Bournemouth and Brentford amongst others

Former Everton footballer Jimmy Gabriel has sadly passed away at the age of 80.

The right-winger made further than 300 appearances for the Toffees during a seven-year stay at Goodison Park, scoring 37 times in the process.
